Residue
The work displays a process of creating and curating clay shards. It refers to images, patterns and practices of various disciplines such as archaeology, ecology, weaving, embroidery and 3D printing. The shards in this work never revamp an object or a figure, nor set up a series, a grid, a module, or any abstract principle. They are shattered and mixed fragments of several production lines and representation orders. Cultural “Debris” obliterating the boundaries between crafts, between embroidery and ceramics for instance. An assemblage which does not provide a conclusive image, but rather spreads doubts regarding its value, qualities and form: flat or multi-dimensional, monochromatic or prismatic, calculated or erratic, manual or digital, original or simulacrum, archaic or ephemeral.
